Welcome to Top Privateer

We have a plan for the next television program to take the world by storm.

In a world where the US has been fighting wars on foreign soil at great expense and without clear success it is time to try capitalism where democracy has had so much trouble.

Using Article 1, section 8 of the United States Constitution we will ask the Congress to grant us a Letter of Marque to resolve the concerns off the coast of Somalia. We will also work with major shipping companies that have security issues and secure further funding from our advertising sponsors. We will target weapon manufactures, ocean going boat manufacturers and boating equipment suppliers for product placement opportunities.

We will equip a fleet of fast and nimble watercraft for combat and television filming along with several helicopters to provide additional visibility and camera angles. Filming will begin as soon as funding has been secured and we will start by recruiting people who have experience in private security work or prior military experience who would like to break out into a career in TV. We will build four man teams to allow for driving, proactive defense, and pirate spotting with a rotating camera man on each team.

After filming several shows of training, weapons practice, instruction on how to prevent boarding, near-water targeting and high speed boat handling we will move to the Somalia area.

Using radar and radio communications we will patrol the international waters near Somalia seeking to protect the shipping lanes from pirates. At the end of each episode we will provide prizes to teams for the most pirate ships immobilized at sea and for the number of legitimate shipping vessels they have defended.

We will also offer special challenges to demonstrate team proficiency at boating and targeting on the water. Along with the television show we will work with our technology staff to engage our viewership in an interactive online experience. Seeking feedback to guide the show and also providing entertainment and real time news to keep the community engaged between episodes. We will leverage the internet video sites to allow fans to better identify with the competitors and drive alternative streams of advertising revenue. We will film constantly and release weekly episodes, with editing done within 2 days of each week's end.

Concurrently with filming the Privateer portion of the show we will run a second team of cameras to investigate what is going on in the country of Somalia to create a climate where this type of activity is possible and work with aid organizations to promote their efforts to improve the region.

At the end of the season we will declare America's Top Privateer and provide them with their well earned booty, $1,000,000,000 in GOLD.

We welcome contact from interested parties.
